Property Description
A modern single-storey self-catering holiday Chalet situated overlooking Donegal Bay in beautiful South West Donegal near the village of Inver. This property is set in a wonderful location, within walking distance of the local sandy beach with marvellous views of the sea and mountains near Inver village, a beautiful and little known beach location.
The Eany river, which is a renowned salmon river, is close by, whilst fishing is also available on the Lough (St. Peter's Lake). There is a choice of golf courses within 30 miles. There is an extensive range of amenities in the area. Shop and pub 0.25 miles, restaurants 4.75 miles.
Guests have been coming to ‘The Claddagh’ since 2001 and we found that many of them use our location as a stepping stone to areas which they wish to visit like the renowned Slieve League – the highest seacliff in Europe or the port of Killybegs – Ireland’s premier fishing port or Donegal Town with its 15th century Castle and historic sights or perhaps a spot of fishing off the rocks at nearby St. John’s Pt.
Area description
Inver and Mountcharles are two small villages between the larger towns of Donegal (Town) to the East and Killybegs to the West. All are linked by the N56, the southernmost section of the main "artery" linking all parts of the periphery of Western Donegal, from Dunfanaghy in the North to Letterkenny in the East, and Dungloe in the West. A drive along this route will reward one with some of the most spectacular scenery anywhere in Ireland. There will be many side-roads tempting one to take a turn to see what lies beyond; and perhaps 2 or 3 days will be needed to do justice to the tour.
There is an extensive range of amenities in the area.

Saturday to Saturday during high season. Other dates are flexible.
Cancellation policy
€100 booking deposit with balance to be paid 6 weeks prior to arrival.
If holiday is cancelled 6 weeks prior to arrival, we will endeavour to return the deposit if we are able to re let the property at the normal rate less €20 for administration.
Cancellations made 29-42 days before start date of holiday - 50% of total holiday cost
Cancellations made 15-28 days before start date of holiday - 75% of total holiday cost
Cancellations made 1-14 days before start date of holiday - full holiday costs
Remember to check that your travel insurance policy covers cancellation of holidays.
Deposits
€100 booking deposit with balance payable 6 weeks prior to arrival
