Carefully restored in recent years the cottage offers an ideal retreat from busy city life. Fern Cottage is an excellent location for exploring Donegal, most of which is within an hour’s drive. All modern conveniences are included and you are assured of a friendly welcome - just enjoy the fresh, free range eggs supplied as part of the welcome pack!

Glenveagh National Park: About fifteen minutes drive away from cottage this magnificent national park is home to herds of red deer and golden eagles.
Gartan Outdoor Pursuits Centre: Situated on the shores of Loch Gartan this is a very popular destination for adventure holiday enthusiasts.
Newmills Corn and Flax Mills: Situated on the Glenties Road out of Letterkenny the mills contain the largest working waterwheels in Ireland.
Donegal County Museum: The Museum houses both permanent and temporary exhibitions including displays from the Stone Age, the late Medieval period and the recent history and folk life of the county.

€100 booking deposit with balance to be paid 6 weeks prior to arrival.
If holiday is cancelled 6 weeks prior to arrival, we will endeavour to return the deposit if we are able to re let the property at the normal rate less €20 for administration.
Cancellations made 29-42 days before start date of holiday - 50% of total holiday cost
Cancellations made 15-28 days before start date of holiday - 75% of total holiday cost
Cancellations made 1-14 days before start date of holiday - full holiday costs.
Remember to check that your travel insurance policy covers cancellation of holidays.
