McNutts’ café at Downings harbour is a firm favourite for family breakfast and lunch times with a great selection of home cooking on offer. A little further away (3 kilometres) in Carrigart, there are two bar /restaurants and a café with a convenient Centra store Mickey Joe’s Country Store beside the church, is particularly well stocked for the visitors with a great butchery counter and well stocked freezer compartment, plus wines.

Golf Course: Rosapenna – Old Tom Morris course 50 metres from back door. Sandy Hills 200 hundred metres. Green fees for both courses payable at golf pavilion, also 200 metres from house.

Cancellation policy

€100 booking deposit with balance to be paid 6 weeks prior to arrival.
If holiday is cancelled 6 weeks prior to arrival, we will endeavour to return the deposit if we are able to re-let the property at the normal rate less €20 for administration.
Cancellations made 29-42 days before start date of holiday - 50% of total holiday cost
Cancellations made 15-28 days before start date of holiday - 75% of total holiday cost
Cancellations made 1-14 days before start date of holiday - full holiday costs
Remember to check that your travel insurance policy covers cancellation of holidays.

Deposits

€100 booking deposit with balance payable 6 weeks prior to arrival
