Property Description

This superb family holiday cottage is located in mature woodland and is within easy walking distance (3 mins) of Rathmullans 2km long; sandy beach. Furnished in contemporary style the cottage features a conservatory style dining area, fully fitted kitchen, ground floor ensuite bedroom, 2 upstairs bedrooms and a paved patio area to the exterior.The woodland surrounding the cottage provides a safe place for children to play and explore.

The village of Rathmullan, with its pubs, shops and restaurants is a 10 min. walk away. A new car/passenger ferry, crossing Lough Swilly in 25 mins (May-September), connects the village with the town of Buncrana on the Inishowen Peninsula. On the Buncrana side you’ll find, lovely river/coastal walks, an indoor heated swimming pool and a fantastic kid’s play park. The car ferry also opens up further day trip possibilities and a visit to one or more of the following is highly recommended.

Area description

The Sycamores No.20 is located close to the Golden Sands Equestrian Centre, which features a full programme of horse riding activities. If you fancy a boat trip on Lough Swilly just contact Angela at the local post office to reserve your place on Enterprise 1, the only fully licensed and equipped charter boat operating from the village pier.

For the golf enthusiast the 9 hole Otway course is 3 miles north of the cottage while the more challenging links course at Portsalon, with its spectacular location, is a 12 mile drive along the coast. For shopping, cinema, theatre, bowling, go-karting and indoor kids adventure centre, a trip to Letterkenny is recommended (20 mins drive from the cottage.

Cancellation policy

€100 booking deposit with balance to be paid 6 weeks prior to arrival.
If holiday is cancelled 6 weeks prior to arrival, we will endeavour to return the deposit if we are able to re let the property at the normal rate less €20 for administration.

Cancellations made 15-28 days before start date of holiday - 75% of total holiday cost
Cancellations made 1-14 days before start date of holiday - full holiday costs
