Malin is one of the
most northerly villages in Ireland and has in the recent past been
the recipient of the coveted accolade of "Ireland's Tidiest Town"
not once, but twice! The village is laid out along each side of a
triangular shaped green area, beautifully decorated by flower beds
and bordered by trees. There are a
number of holiday homes in Malin available for holiday rental As you approach the village from the south
you cross over a unique ten-arched stone bridge believed to be the
only one of its kind in the country. To the north of the village
you'll find the fabulous five fingers strand and Ireland's most
northerly point, Malin Head. Equestrian centre -
Rose Cottage is a
traditional thatched cottage approximately 200 years old, it boasts
stunning views over Trawbreaga Bay and has it's own private track
down to the bay. The school is a family run business run by Katie
McDermott who is ABRS qualified with over 26 years experience in
teaching, dressage and show jumping. |
