Moycullen Moycullen
lies 13 km northwest of Galway City on the N59 road towards Clifden.
The village commands lovely views over Lough Corrib and is an ideal
coarse angling centre with Ballyquirke and Ross lakes just a cast
away. Indeed there are eleven coarse fishing lakes in the locality,
all holding: Bream, Roach, Rudd, Perch, Eel, Pike and Roach/Bream
Hybrids.
The visitor centres of Connemara Marble and Celtic Crystal are

on the N59. These beautiful gardens located at Roscahill are set
within 11 acres of native woodland and wildflower meadows, featuring
a nature trail, ogham trees, children's discovery trail, an ancient
ring fort and our spectacular calendar sundial, the largest of its
kind in Ireland. Pony and Horse trekking is also available at
Moycullen Riding School where you can stroll through scenic
landscapes on bog roads.
Moycullen Country Market - An Fuaran - takes place off the main
Clifden Road and outside the Forge Pub & Restaurant, each Friday
with local produce including fresh fish, organic vegetables, meat,
cheese, bagels, jams and chutneys. There are also stalls selling
jewellery, crafts, plants, etc. Many of the suppliers that attend
