Tousist is a small
village located on the Beara Peninsula and is approximately 15km to
the southwest of Kenmare and approximately 5km to the north of
Lauragh.
The area around Tuosist has some of the most spectacular scenery to
be found anywhere in Ireland, with views over the Atlantic Ocean and
the Kenmare Bay. Tousist looks across Kenmare Bay towards the
Iveragh Peninsula and the majestic mountain range of the
Magillicuddy Reeks. Tuosist and neaby Lauragh offer tropical gardens
and woodlands, lakes, rivers, waterfalls, mountain views, fishing,
diving, seal watching and walking. |
