Touraneena is a tiny
village in west County Waterford. It lies in the Sliabh gCua
district between the Comeraghs and Knockmealdown Mountains. It is
located approximately halfway between Dungarvan (20km) and Clonmel
(19km)
The area around Touraneena contains a number of places for visitors
to see including the Nire Valley, the Comeragh Drive, the heritage
town of Lismore and the Cistercian Abbey and Grotto at Mount
Melleray.
A number of beaches and golf courses are to be found in and around
Dungarvan, just 20 minutes drive south of Touraneena. |
