location makes it an ideal base to explore the “sunny south east”

Wexford Town is due south of Ballymurn. It was originally founded by
the Vikings and later developed by the Normans. To this day it
retains something of this earlier character with lots of narrow
winding streets and a lovely marina and quayside. Home of the famous

restaurants and a wide variety of shops.
The town of Enniscorthy is just a 15 minute drive north of Ballymurn.

its annual Strawberry Fair and Blackstairs Blues Festival. This
vibrant town is dominated by the Norman castle (now a museum) and
the River Slaney. |
