Kilanerin - or
Killinierin - is a village in north Co Wexford. It is located
7km north of Gorey Town and just 7km south from the border with Co
Wicklow.
Nestling in the foothills of Croghan Mountain Kilanerin is a scenic
area of rolling hills and valleys with extensive woodlands ideal for
walking and trekking. Amenities in the area around Kilanerin include
superb golf clubs at nearby Courtown, Seafield and Ballymoney, the
Forest Park Leisure Centre, two active hunts The Island Hunt and The
Wicklow Hunt and excellent shooting and fishing.
Numerous sandy
beaches are only a short drive away including the blue flag beach at
Courtown (12km). Gorey town is less than a 10 minute drive away and
has numerous restaurants, pubs and excellent shopping.
A short drive from Kilanerin will take you to County Wicklow and the
Wicklow Mountains National Park, while all the excitement of Dublin
is only an hour's drive away. |
