Riverchapel is
a village on the north east coast of Co Wexford. It lies just south
of Courtown . Indeed with recent expansion these two coastal resorts
have effectively merged.
There are lots of things to see and do in the Riverchapel/ Coutown
area - numerous bars, restaurants and shops, a great choice of golf
courses, boat and shore fishing and horse riding. And of course
there are wonderful sandy beaches along this stretch of coastline
including the superb blue flag beach at Courtown itself.
There are also
amusement arcades, outdoor adventure centres and indoor leisure
complexes. There are lovely walks through the Courtown Woods and the
banks of the Ounavarra River are ideal for picnics.
Riverchapel is the perfect base for touring Wexford and Wicklow and
even as far as Dublin. Avoca, Wexford Slobs, Glendalough,
Powerscourt House, the Wicklow Mountains and Tara Hill are all
within easy reach. |
