Antrim Town Holiday Homes

Antrim is a town in County Antrim in the northeast of Northern Ireland, on the banks of the Six Mile Water, half a mile north-east of Lough Neagh.

The town is the administrative centre of Antrim Borough Council. About a mile from the town is one of the most perfect of the round towers of Ireland, 93 feet high and 50 feet in circumference at the base.

It stands in the grounds of Steeple, where there is also the “Witches’ Stone”, a prehistoric monument. Join a Blue Badge tour guide during July, August and September for a guided walking tour of Antrim and the surviving features of the town.

Leaving Antrim Tourist Information Centre, on appointment, the tour highlights surviving features from Antrim of old such as the Market Square, castle walls, churches and courthouse. Alternatively, pick up a copy of the illustrated Heritage Trail Leaflet and take your own self guided tour.
