The Donegal international rally is based around this area in June. For the golf enthusiast, the links courses at Portsalon and Rosapenna are among the finest in the country. Just outside the village is one of Donegal’s finest trout waters, Lough Fern. For the sea angler, boat hire and regular arranged fishing trips are available at Rathmullan and Downings.
