Jonesborough,is a small village in County Armagh, located about 5 miles south of Newry. The village is famous for its weekly Sunday open-air market which can attract thousands of people

Not far from the village lies the ruins of Moyry Castle built in the 17th Century to guard the Gap of the North.

The Kilsnasagart stone is also close by. This inscribed stone is regarded as being one of the oldest inscribed stones in Ireland. It stands on the ancient road which ran from Tara in County Meath and through the Moyry Pass to Dunseverick Head on the North Antrim Coast.
